Have your say: Scottish Government’s Draft Environment Strategy

The Scottish Government has launched a public consultation on its draft Environment Strategy. The draft Strategy sets out a holistic framework for delivering Scotland’s role in tackling the global crises of nature loss, climate change and pollution.

This is an important opportunity for individuals, communities, researchers, and practitioners across Scotland to contribute their views on the draft environment strategy.

The consultation invites public input on Scotland’s draft Environment Strategy, a comprehensive framework that integrates existing policies to address nature loss, climate change, pollution, and sustainable development . It seeks views on the draft strategy itself as well as its related equality, privacy, and business impact assessments. Feedback will help shape Scotland’s transition to a greener economy, sustainable lifestyles, and strengthened environmental resilience.

You can respond to the strategy here: https://www.gov.scot/publications/consultation-draft-environment-strategy/pages/1

Consultation deadline:  29 September 2025

Please share this opportunity with your networks and partners working in environmental, community or policy spaces.
